Helping Ontario's Digital Media Companies Grow

Ontario Government Working with Industry Partners to Create Jobs

Premier Kathleen Wynne is working with leaders in the digital media industry to expand Ontario's vibrant knowledge-based industries and create more jobs.

Joined by Michael Chan, the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sport, the Premier participated in a roundtable discussion in Toronto with industry leaders including Interactive Ontario, Ubisoft Toronto, Google Canada, Communitech, Polar Mobile and TransGaming.

The government is focused on fostering innovation and helping digital media companies stay competitive in a rapidly changing global market. The province is committed to supporting the industry as it expands its global reach and connecting businesses to the talent they need to grow and excel.

Strengthening the province's knowledge-based industries is part of the Ontario government's plan to build a prosperous economy and create more jobs.
