Lieutenant Governor to Deliver Ontario Speech from the Throne

Her Honour The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will deliver the Speech from the Throne on Monday, March 19, 2018. This will open the third Session of the 41st Parliament of Ontario.

Speech from the Throne

Queen's Park, Legislative Chamber

The Legislative Assembly of Ontario's Broadcast and Recording Service will provide a pool feed of the procession and the reading of the Speech from the Throne to members of the Queen's Park Press Gallery.

The public will be able to watch the proceedings on the Legislative Assembly of Ontario's television channel and website.

Instructions for media on site:

  • Media are asked to be in their fixed positions no later than 11:30 AM
  • Media must register and provide accreditation upon arrival
  • Non-accredited media must report to the Press Gallery on the third floor, Room 387A, for media passes
  • Passes are available in Room 453 of the Main Building to still photographers taking pictures from the east and west public galleries

No parking available on site. Street parking only.
