Executive Biography

Granville Anderson was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2014 as the MPP for Durham.

Anderson currently serves as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education. He was previously Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Children and Youth Services.

He owns a mediation firm in Clarington, where he has lived for more than 25 years.

Anderson has been a trustee with the Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board since 2003. He has also served as the board’s Vice-Chair and Chair.

Anderson is a community leader who has served as Vice-President of the Courtice Chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and as a coach with the Clarington Boys’ Baseball League. He is a member of Rotary Club of Courtice.
